Clap Up High...Clap Down Low

We've been taking Maddux to Gymnastics (Or m-nastics as he calls it) - He LOVES it! His favorite part is the Beam and the Block Pit -- He also loves circle time. They play a cute little song where they sing "Clap up High! Now, Clap down Low" We sang the song today while we were playing outside w/ sidewalk chalk. I got some pics and it was so cute! !

We go tomorrow for Addi Grace's 4 month check up -- If she's still running a low grade fever, we will have to hold off on her shots. We kept her inside this evening so the only pic I have is her in her swing today. She has really started using her hands alot. I caught her staring and moving them like she had never seen them before-- It's amazing how different she is than Maddux was as a baby. Maddux was so happy and easy going. She's a happy baby now (after we got her colic and acid reflux under control) but she is definitely HIGH MAINTENANCE! I wonder if that's because she's a girl?????????????

Tooties and Booties

This weekend, I had to take both of the kids to the Dr. --(They are both fine - just good ole ear infections and colds!) ANYWAY, Addi Grace and I were in the waiting room Saturday night. It was a very small waiting room that happened to be packed with sick people. There was a cute little frat boy sitting next to us and I asked him politely what he thought was wrong with him. If he dared to say "flu" - I would have high tailed it out of there. He politely said, "Oh - I'm not sick, I brought my friend here" - I said ok and began to make conversation. In the meantime, Addi Grace was very much ready to get out of her car seat. I set her on my lap, and she started cooing and smiling at this cute frat boy. The guy laughed but wasn't very sure what to do. Well, low and behold, my darling, adorable, sweet baby girl decides to let out some "tooties" -- And they were kind of loud..... I was panicked that the cute frat boy would think it was me with the "tooties" -- So, I said outloud "Excuse you Miss Addi Grace!!" - The guy just laughed... I was soooo embarrassed!!!!!!!!

I finally found Addi Grace a cute pair of winter shoes. I have kind of been disappoined in the shoe selection for baby girls. I always found cute boy shoes for Maddux when he was an infant. And isn't it supposed to be easier to find cute baby stuff for girls?????? Ugh....

I heart Fall !!!!

Well, it's finally cooling off up here in Northwest Arkansas. It was a GORGEOUS day so we spent some time outside this evening. Maddux LOVES being outside. I think he would live out there if we let him. We played around in the yard and "hunted" for acorns...... You would think he found gold by the way he screams "acon"!!

BTW - This is my first post -- I hope you all come back often. My goal is to post everyday!!!!
