Addi Grace turns 10 months old a week from this Sunday - Ouch - Which has me thinking about her 1st birthday party - Max and I went ALL OUT for Maddux's party and I feel like if I don't do the same for Addi Grace, I'm not being fair. Any mother's out there feel the same???? Anyway, I've been brainstorming on what to do, when to do it (since it's right in the middle of my post season) The invitation we did for Maddux's first birthday party is above. I loved this invitation. It was perfect! Of course, my sister-in-law Wendy (http://www.wendydunnphotography.com/) took the pic -- And she also took the one above of Addi Grace a couple of weeks ago! Oh! She is so good!!! The pics below are of Maddux playing on our Neighbor's Tire Swing - The first one is from this week and the second one is from last year around this time. I can't believe how much he has grown! He really is starting to look like a little boy!

ReplyDeleteFor Braden, we had sort of a 1st birthday party/going away party for Vanessa and the kids. I remember well that Papaw was there and we has pepperoni pizza...his favorite! :0)
ReplyDeleteFor Garrett, we had a little gathering of family and one of my best friends from Tulsa came down for the evening...John Deere tractors on the cake!
Honestly, it's more for the parents than the kid. I haven't even done anything "official" for Braden's birthday this year...hoping for warmer weather and maybe a cookout or weiner roast.
Maddux's birthday invitation is the CUTEST!!!! Addi Grace will not know when her party is, so just do it later! I can't wait to see what you do! I know it will be adorable. I will email you some blogs with awesome party ideas. Cilla's party was giraffe themed, since her giraffe is her favorite thing in the world!
